The costs of Apprenticeships offered to 16-18 year olds are 100% funded by the government and for those aged 19 and over, the government will now pay 95%* of the costs.

Plus, if your apprentice is under 25, you will not be required to make national insurance contributions for them. A typical Engineering Advanced Apprenticeship costs £9k per year, meaning, you have access to structured, recognised training programs, at a cost to you of approximately £450 per year – or less than £40 per month.  Plus, findings from a report from the Centre of Economics & Business Research, found that employing an apprentice boosts organisation productivity by over £850 per month. *From 1st April 2019, the government reduced employer contributions to 5% for all new apprenticeships. Existing apprenticeship schemes that started before 1st April 2019, will continue at the 10% co-funded rate.
