We work with businesses, large and small, offering a range of training solutions to help both business and economic growth
Collaboration with industry is our key philosophy, matched by the enthusiasm of stakeholders. We are an employer led organisation, ensuring our offer truly meets the needs of the sectors we serve.
Why We’re Different
The iMET approach is dynamic and flexible in delivering a range of apprenticeships and commercial courses to meet the evolving needs of the local economy.
All year round training, a range of apprenticeship start dates and a flexible approach to delivery, provides an opportunity for industry to work with iMET to develop tailored skills training.
This approach is used to develop and re-train the existing workforce, as well as attract new talent into the exciting world of manufacturing and the built environment.
iMET provides access to industry standard equipment, including CNC machines, metrology equipment and automation training rigs; as well as digital rooms, a suite of 3D printers and our Ideas Incubator, which houses two VR stations.
